The client provided the designs, most of which incorporated interlocking joinery systems that allowed for easy assembly without the need for screws.
The cuts were planned considering the actual thickness of the boards and the required tolerances to ensure tight-fitting joints, preventing play between components and providing the necessary structural rigidity
This project was fabricated using pine plywood in varying thicknesses — 18 mm and 9 mm — selected according to the structural requirements of each component. An on-site pre-assembly was carried out to verify the fit and accuracy of all parts. The components were then sanded to ensure a clean and refined finish. The components were then shipped flat-packed to Manizales, where the trade show took place.
The client received all elements in perfect condition and was able to assemble them within minutes to begin setting up the exhibition.
